Baker Tilly network originates from England and its history can be traced back to 1870, when the firm of Walter Howard was established. Since then the firm has grown and merged with many different audit firms. Baker Tilly was introduced as trademark in 1988 through a merger between audit firms Baker Rooke and Howard Tilly.

Both Latvian and Lithuanian firm are among ten major audit firms in terms of sales revenue.
