Baker Tilly Baltics is an independent member of Baker Tilly International network.

Baker Tilly International is a network of independent accountancy and business services firms, all of whom are committed to providing the best possible service to their clients, in their own marketplaces, and across the world, wherever the client needs help.

Baker Tilly International is the 8^thlargest auditing and business consultancy network in the world, represented in 114 countries and having total income of 3.13 billion USD (as at December 2009). Audit firms within Baker Tilly network perform audits in many listed companies worldwide. The members of Baker Tilly network are recognized partners in auditing the projects of both the World Bank and the European Community.

Baker Tilly network originates from England and its history can be traced back to 1870, when the firm of Walter Howard was established. Since then the firm has grown and merged with many different audit firms. Baker Tilly was introduced as trademark in 1988 through a merger between audit firms Baker Rooke and Howard Tilly.

Each firm within the network can provide their clients local support through Baker Tilly offices in other countries worldwide. Services are provided according to the principle that coordination of work of auditors or consultants in different countries should be the duty of Baker Tilly, not the client.

The network has various committees and working groups worldwide.The employees of the firmswithin the network are also offered international training programmes. Network firms have close mutual cooperation.

Cooperation between the Baltic States

On the Baltic level, Estonian and Latvian firms operate jointly under trademark Baker Tilly Baltics all. According to the plans, the same trademark shall also be used by our Lithuanian partner in 2010. The seven offices in the Baltic region have the total of 45 employees. Both Latvian and Lithuanian firm are among ten major audit firms in terms of sales revenue.
